MØLLER DESCRIPTION:Xposure Video Presents three Norwegian SOV horror shorts from J.C. MØLLER with VIDEOGORE in the Movie Madness Miniplex! \nUnearthed from the annals of Norway’s cult underground\, Xposure Video presents the elusive 1980s shot-on-video heavy metal splatter horror films of Jon Christian Møller. In Kite: Liberator (which is more of a spin-off than a direct sequel)\, ten years has now passed. A new teenage assassin is cleaning up the grimy streets of Tokyo. The police call her the Angel of Death\, an unfeeling assassin who eliminates targets with grace and precision\, leaving only a flurry of feathers across the bloody crime scene as a calling card. What the public is unaware of is that this notorious hit man is actually a polite young lady named Monaka. Could the placid face of an innocent high school girl really disguise such a ruthless killer? Monaka seems to be just an average high school girl. Here is a little bit about his role in the film:\n“My name is Brian Harper and I played the lead role of Rob and helped create 777.  Colin Anson (Director) and I met in grade school and bonded over our love for film.  We were both obsessed with Horror and sketch comedy\, which would lead to us creating numerous short films.  In 1996\, during our freshman year of high school\, we decided to shoot our first feature film.  777 was the finished product after a year and a half devotion to this art form.  I’ve called Portland my home for 15yrs and never expected nor imagined to have this childhood artifact be unearthed again.  It is a real honor for this opportunity and I’m stoked for this to have a wider audience.” \n\n \nTickets available below:\nHollywood Theatre – 777 – Movie Madness First Friday\n\nThis film is available on the Bleeding Skull “Backyard Bloodbaths” blu-ray collection. I grew up reading Mad Magazine and watching old horror films\, which influenced my visual style. After studying art in Boston and moving to Portland in 2015\, I became interested in collecting video tapes\, starting with the purchase of Rawhead Rex. One afternoon I decided to paint the demon poodle from the VHS cover for The Boneyard. This led to more illustrations of genre films released during the video store era.
