DESCRIPTION:Our First Friday Artist Spotlight returns with a gallery popup by local artist Adrian Poole! \nArtist Bio:\nMy name is Adrian Poole and I am from Newark\, Delaware. I grew up reading Mad Magazine and watching old horror films\, which influenced my visual style. After studying art in Boston and moving to Portland in 2015\, I became interested in collecting video tapes\, starting with the purchase of Rawhead Rex. One afternoon I decided to paint the demon poodle from the VHS cover for The Boneyard. This led to more illustrations of genre films released during the video store era.
