Xposure Video Presents three Norwegian SOV horror shorts from J.C. MØLLER with VIDEOGORE in the Movie Madness Miniplex!
Unearthed from the annals of Norway’s cult underground, Xposure Video presents the elusive 1980s shot-on-video heavy metal splatter horror films of Jon Christian Møller. Armed with a camcorder, his deranged visions, and a group of willing friends, the teenaged Møller produced Norway’s first notable horror films in several decades. Dig into three jaw-droppingly sick dispatches so vile they only could have been made by jovial adolescents. Exuding raw ambition, unfettered creativity, and absurd graphic violence. Møller’s films are prime examples of shot-on-video horror and deserving additions to the canon of underground European horror cinema.
We’ll be showing a compilation of Moller’s three shorts: The Norwegian Drillbit Massacre (30 minutes), where a masked power-drill wielding maniac terrorizes the youth of a summer camp, Jeg Hater Dere (15 minutes) where a bullied teen proves revenge is best served cold in the country’s snowy streets; Kannibal Massaker (45 minutes) pits well-meaning Christian youths against a nasty foe intent on slashing and eating his way across the city.
